Who We Are & Why We Do It.
A brief summary:
In 2018, Liam Kern aimed to empower small businesses, equipping them with high-impact digital marketing services that were traditionally exclusive to high-paying tech giants. Recognizing the pivotal role of small businesses in local communities, Liam was committed to ensuring their competitiveness. He identified a need for a consistent and affordable, growth & marketing service, distinctly better than the sporadic nature of hiring for one-off tasks.
This led to the inception of Kohn Media, a modest venture initially, which notably assisted an artist in building a website, programming analytics, initiating social media campaigns, and ideating & executing paid ads to boost artwork sales.
After working for some time with that artist, Liam subsequently gained valuable experience in the tech industry across various Silicon Valley tech companies over the years. Notably, his enduring aspiration remained to provide the accessible, small business-oriented services he had envisioned long ago.
Through a collaborative effort with a close colleague, and while working full-time, Liam revamped his former agency, giving rise to Common Sense Growth & Marketing. Rooted in the core mission of delivering revenue-focused marketing and growth strategies without depleting small business budgets, Common Sense embarked on its journey. With an extensive background spanning over 6 years across diverse marketing disciplines and operational realms, Liam, alongside his team of distributed professionals, united to establish a premier full-service agency.
